MESSAGE FROM Jackie Sear

I have worked to develop E.A.S.E.for many years now, way before 2001 and I am so glad that we are now able to produce this website.

I developed E.A.S.E. because of experiences that I have been through and witnessed in my personal and professional life. Without my strong support network and basic education, these could have crushed me.

I hope that E.A.S.E can offer access to educational and personal development opportunities and also access to support and social opportunities that will enable other people, who too have been written off, to overcome their obstacles and barriers to their own success.

We have by no means reached our aims and will continue to learn whilst we grow and develop new services. But having come from nothing we have achieved a lot and all those who have helped us along the way should be proud. I want to personally thank them.

The Buddy Scheme

The Buddy Scheme aims to provide practical support and help to overcome everyday issues and obstacles in order to aid personal development.

We provide access to information, administrative support, form-filling, signposting to other agencies and services, chase up repairs or simply a friendly chat!

We have links with other organisations and can refer you to the appropriate service including:
Genesis Money Advice Service Ealing Homes Tenants Support Service
EREC Anti- Racial Harrassment Project Intuition PPIMS (Parent Partnership)
Neighbour Mediation Service PALS
Ealing Victim Support Children’s Support Panel

We also act as mediator if you are trying to deal with someone in the council or Ealing Homes and you don’t feel like you are getting your point across let us have a go and find out what is going on. We can’t promise miracles but we will have a go!

We don’t just refer you on and forget about you we offer support whilst you are waiting for the referral appointment and throughout the process if you need it.

If you would like to volunteer or you want to use the service contact 0800 689 1919

Holiday Schemes

Last year we worked with 40 young people during the Easter Holidays and over 100 in the summer.
Our Holiday Schemes aim to provide a positive and lasting mark on the local area, so far the young people designed and painted a mural and shop-fronts, created a mosaic sign for the Copley Community Hall and made their mark with a graffiti wall.

This Easter, we plan to complete the painting and get the young people gardening to improve the area opposite Castlebar Park Train station. They will also develop ideas for a mural that will be approved by the community and will be painted during the May Half Term or Summer Holidays.

20 tickets for Vue cinema and a story telling at Corbetts Bookshop in Ealing Broadway have already been donated. We will be going to London to do some sightseeing and will also be going on a trip possibly ice-skating or a theatre trip. The young people will decide the timetable and activities on the first day of the scheme.

Dates Tuesday 4rd April – Friday 7th April
Monday 10th April – Thursday 14th April

Times 10am – 3pm

Cost £4 per day or £30 for whole scheme if paid in advance
If you have more than one child we can offer a discount. Please contact us.

We need volunteers with greenfingers. Training and support will be given. CRB check will be required. Contact us if you are interested!
